Rebekah Blankenship

I thought my pediatric background would prepare me for motherhood…

Motherhood is beautiful—but it can also feel overwhelming, exhausting, and full of questions you never knew you’d have.

Is my baby eating enough? Sleeping enough? Is this normal? Am I doing this right? Why does it feel like everyone else knows something I don’t?

I’ve been there, too.

Hi, I’m Rebekah Blankenship—a pediatric physician assistant, parent educator, sleep consultant, and mom.

Before becoming a mom, I had spent years caring for babies and children and working alongside families in hospitals, clinics, and educational settings. I thought that experience would mean I’d feel prepared.

Then I brought my own baby home.

Suddenly, I understood how different it feels when you’re the one making the decisions at 2 a.m. There was so much to navigate—feeding, sleep, development, schedules, health questions, and simply learning how to be a mom.

That experience changed the way I wanted to support families. I created Nurtured Nest to bridge the gap between knowing the information and actually knowing what to do with it in real life.

My Philosophy

Where Pediatric Expertise Meets Real-Life Motherhood.

EVIDENCE-BASED. PRACTICAL. PERSONALIZED.

There is no shortage of parenting information. The hard part is figuring out what’s trustworthy, what actually matters, and how to apply it to your child and your family.

That’s where Nurtured Nest is different.

I take evidence-based pediatric information and translate it into practical guidance for everyday motherhood. Whether you’re learning through the First 12 Months Playbook, working with me one-on-one for sleep support, or connecting through a Mama Meet-Up, my goal is the same: to help you understand your child and feel equipped to make confident decisions for your family.

You won’t find a one-size-fits-all approach here. Babies are different. Toddlers are different. Families are different. Good support should give you the knowledge and tools to make informed choices—not make every choice for you.

You don’t have to become an expert in everything to feel confident as a mom. You just need trustworthy guidance along the way.
